Art Exhibition

Browse through the diverse range of watercolour paintings at the WSQ 2025 Annual Exhibition. Our members’ artwork covers a range of subjects from lush landscapes, sandy beach scenes, seascapes, marinas, city-scapes & urban-scapes, portraits, animals, florals and so much more.

The Exhibition includes artwork from the judged section as well as a general exhibition of art by both our professional members and talented hobbyists. All the artwork on show is available for sale - from large, framed & unframed paintings, through to miniatures. There are also original and printed – from original artwork – greetings cards available at the Sales Desk.

Daily Art Demonstrations

We have twice daily painting demonstrations put on by our talented members. You can take a seat and watch a painting come to life with the beautiful medium of watercolour and engage with the artist. There are morning and afternoon demonstrations on each of the three days. Check our Watercolour Demonstrations Schedule on this page for the times and artists.

And Lots to Do...

Try Me Table

Have a go at our ‘Try Me Table’ - this is an opportunity to try your hand at watercolour painting. Several tables will be set up with paints, brushes & paper all supplied by our wonderful sponsor Arthouse Direct. There will be WSQ members on hand to help and answer your questions. This can be found in the covered courtyard area next to the Exhibition gallery.

Look out for the Sales Desk sign

You can make all your art purchases at our Sales Desk. It will be stocked with our very practical and beautifully embroidered WSQ aprons, handy for any arty or crafty person! Also, our WSQ beginner watercolour kits for all ages will be available for sale as well as specially designed children’s watercolour kits.

Raffles

There will be several raffles of original artwork created by our wonderful WSQ members. These will be on display during the Exhibition so when you purchase a raffle ticket you can choose which prize draw you would like to enter. There is also a choice of other prize draws including our WSQ aprons, beginner & children’s watercolour kits to be won! Raffle tickets will be $2 each or 6 for $10.
